Outgoing SMTP Email Problems - Basic Instructions for Email Clients

Some ISP's block the Outgoing SMTP Relay causing outgoing email messages to bounce. There are a couple of ways you can handle this problem:

Change your port settings
Change the SMTP Outgoing Server Port setting to 26. Many ISP's are starting to block port 25 because of email spamming.
"My Server Requires Authentication" option needs to be set. (The "Authentication" is named differently in various email clients)
Under Outgoing Mail Server Settings (this is named differently in various email clients) you need to select "Use settings as my incoming mail server".
 
Or
 
Use your ISP (Internet Service Provider) SMTP Outgoing Server Settings
Use your ISP's SMTP Outgoing server settings. (You may have to call your ISP to get the correct SMTP Outgoing mail server settings.

Under Outgoing Mail Server Settings (this is named differently in various email clients) you need to log on using your email name@yourisp.com and password from your local ISP.
Make sure the Outgoing Server Port setting is set to 25 since you are going to be using your ISP.
